OVER 3DCapo

Who is behind 3DCapo.de?

Gottlob von 3dcapo.de

I am Gottlob – Founder and head behind3DCapode. Born in 1964, on the road for many years in the trucking and forwarding sector and at some point stuck with 3D printing, laser engraving and digital production.

From a hobby in the workshop, a small, versatile production has emerged step by step. Today, 3DCapo is not only about individual products, but above all about putting ideas into practice: from 3D printed individual parts to personalized engravings to small series and custom-made products.

FROM TRUCK TO MANUFACTURE

Practical ideas instead of mass products.

My roots are in the freight forwarding world. Trucks, technology and practical solutions have accompanied me for decades. This is exactly what led to many of the first ideas: things that really help in everyday life, fit better or simply be more individual.

At the beginning was a single 3D printer. This resulted in prototypes, improvements, further machines and finally a small production facility. Much is directly developed, tested, adapted and produced here. No anonymous mass-produced goods, but short distances and the possibility to respond to special requests.

WHAT WE DO

3D printing, laser engraving and individual production.

3D

3D printing

Individual parts, prototypes, personalized products and small series in different materials and qualities.

Laser engraving

Engravings and markings on metal, wood, coated surfaces, plastics and many other materials.

Sublimation

Colorful, durable prints on suitable products – from cups to personalized small series.

TECHNIQUE IN SERVICE

Not a machine for everything – but the right technology for the job.

3D printing farm

The machine park includes several Bambu Lab systems – including H2C, H2D, X2D, P2S, P1S and A1 – supplemented by Anycubic for particularly large components. Multicolor printing and automatic material change have long been part of everyday life.

MOPA & Fiber lasers

With thexTool F2 Ultra 60W MOPAand thexTool F1 Ultrametals can be precisely marked and engraved. Depending on the material, fine labels, logos, serial numbers and high-contrast markings are possible.

CO2 & Diode lasers

Wood, acrylic, glass and other materials includeNuclear Stack Hurricane CO2 55Wand aiKier K1 Pro Max 48Wavailable. The F2 Ultra complements the whole thing with its 40W diode module.

For round workpieces and series, suitable extensions such as rotation modules and conveyor technology are also available. The decisive factor here is not the number of devices, but that the appropriate technology can be used for the material, shape and desired result.

WORKING

Direct, flexible and without unnecessary detours.

I like solutions that work. That is why 3DCapo not only produces, but also tests, adapts and improves. Especially for custom-made products, this is a great advantage: changing dimensions, changing materials, adding a name or integrating a company logo can often be solved much more easily than with classic bulk goods.

3D printing remains 3D printing – layer lines belong to it depending on the process. Laser engraving also lives on the respective material and its surface. It is important to me to communicate such things openly and to deliver a result that fits the actual purpose.

A LITTLE BIT BACKWARDS

From television back to the workshop.

2012 I am rather coincidentally in the RTL documentary“Dream woman wanted”landed. An unusual experience that has little to do with my everyday life today, but has definitely remained in memory.

in 2024, theSWR in the Landesschauabout my way from trucker to 3D printing. That was much closer to what defines me today: technology, workshop and the joy of turning an idea into a real part.

PERSONAL

What if the machines stop?

  • My roots still lie in the trucking and forwarding world.
  • Scania still has a special place with me.
  • If there is time, I like to go with the Harley or the e-bike.
  • And new machines, tools or manufacturing processes probably make me curious faster than would be reasonable.

An idea in your head?

Whether 3D printing, engraving or individual production: If you plan something and do not yet know how it can be implemented, just speak to me.
