What kind of acrylic glass is used for the signs?

We mostly process high quality cast acrylic glass (GS) – so not a cheap press material, but real quality plexi glass, as it is also used in the professional sector.

The difference is in the details:

• Cheap acrylic (XT, extruded) is pressed industrially and is often susceptible to tension. This can be Cracks, faults or lead unclean engravings – especially with filigree motifs or clean lines.
• Cast acrylic glass (GS) on the other hand voltage-free, clearer, harder and significantly higher quality. It can be lasered excellently and offers a much better result optically and haptically.

? We consciously focus on quality:
Because I don’t want to produce anything that I wouldn’t use myself with pride – be it in a truck, in a workshop or as a gift.

Therefore, in 3DCapo (and in kingof3d.de) almost exclusively GS acrylic glass processed – and only in rare exceptional cases (e.g. in color tests) simpler material.
